Margie Sweetland

Here is Margie Sweetland and her Horse "Plumb". Taken in June, they're merely preparing for the Annual Kauai Paniolo Ukulele Round-Up held each August in Keene, CA. (not really). Margie says that Plumb prefers Willie Nelson, but she's workin' on it. Lookin' good Margie, you're Awesome!

The South Bay Strummers

Here are the South Bay Strummers Jammin' at the July 4th Senior "Q" at the Bartlett Senior Center. We had a very nice turn out, and with "Island Mike" Jammin' on his Ukulele Banjo, how could we not be sparkin' up the dance floor? We were really appreciated and were given lunch as well as many, many smiling faces. After all, that's what it's all about, yeah?

Jim Bunch
Here is Jim Bunch from the small village of Silver Springs on the big Island of Maryland. Also Known as the "Gutbucketeer", Jim has spent the majority of his life specializing in non-musical instruments like the Gutbucket, Jaw harp and Bones, as well as playing the Autoharp, Banjos and (his now main true love, yeah Jim?), Banjo Ukes. He likes learning as much as he can about the music of the 1910's and 1940's. Jim collects Ukulele song books and sheet music as well as MP3's of novelty music, (at last count 12,000 MP3's).
(12,000?!  Easy does it, Gutbucketeer!).   =)
